MultiCut ® Sulphur
23.4.13 + 7(SO3)
A True Granular all-season silage product supplying high levels of Nitrogen and Potassium but with reduced Phosphate /content. The addition of Sulphur enhances yield and crop quality
Many crops, but particularly conserved forage, require high levels of Nitrogen and Potassium combined with lower levels of fertiliser Phosphate. MultiCut Sulphur provides an ideal ratio for these circumstances.
Its high N and K content accounts for crop requirement and removal. The low P content reflects the generally higher P status of grassland and the trend towards lower Phosphate fertilisers to address concerns around Phosphate loss from agriculture
to surface water.
The majority of the UK is now deficient in Sulphur, with average deposition levels having declined from 25 kg S/ha/year 20 years ago to an average of around 5 kg S/ha/year today. This means that most grassland will now respond as much, if not more, to Sulphur, as it will to Phosphate and Potash.
Areas of Suitability
Grassland - one product, throughout the season for conserved grass. Use as a split or single application
depending on conditions or rate, with a total 350-500 kg/ha product (grass silage) or 250-350 kg/ha product (hay). Can also be used as a mid-season maintenance dressing for grazing systems based primarily on straight Nitrogen.
Arable - an extremely flexible grade suited to winter cereals, for spring top dressing of all nutrients and also for use with many spring sown crops in a nutrient programme requiring Sulphur.
| Features | Benefits |
| A True Granular Compound | Even application of nutrients to 24m and above where required (with a correctly calibrated spreader) |
| High N and K with lower P levels | Reflects crop need for a range of grass and forage crops together with efficient spring application of P and K to winter sown crops and addresses an increasing demand for lower P products |
| Contains Sulphur | The majority of the UK now requires Sulphur supplementation to achieve optimum yields |
| Manufactured at sites which are accredited to ISO 9001:2000 | Reliable product, consistent quality, confidence in use and response |
* GrowHow recommends that you set up your spreader for both application rate and spreader pattern.
