A True Granular Compound product for the traditional grassland market, CropMaster Sulphur provides low levels of Phosphate and Potash with added Sulphur to enhance forage yield and quality
There is a significant demand, primarily on grazed grassland for the simple balanced P & K fertiliser system which CropMaster Sulphur provides.
The majority of the UK is now deficient in Sulphur, with average deposition levels having declined from 25 kg S/ha/year twenty years ago to an average of around 5 kg S/ha/year today. This means that most grassland will now respond as much, if not more, to Sulphur, as it will to Phosphate and Potash.
Areas of Suitability
Grassland - use as a general grazing fertiliser where a simple one product system is required.
Rates and number of applications vary by system and location but as a general guide 125 -220 kg/ha CropMaster Sulphur should be used. Apply monthly starting one month before turn out. Can be used in conjunction with Nitram, especially if slurries/manures are used to avoid P & K build up.
Arable - CropMaster Sulphur is suitable for use in any arable crops in conjunction with organic manures or in combination with other GrowHow products. As a sole product, it is unlikely to supply the required level of P & K.
