Nitram ®

34.5%N

The UK's leading fertiliser brand

Nitram is a very flexible product for use throughout the whole season.

Product Consistency
Prilled for improved aerodynamics, Nitram consistently achieves an even spread pattern due to its consistency and even spreading qualities. Well maintained fertiliser spreaders that are calibrated regularly achieve spreading widths of 24m (widths of 36m can be achieved depending on the type of spreader). However beware, the wider the spreading width, the more weather conditions can affect spread pattern.

With Nitram product density at 1,000kg/cubic metre and urea density at 750kg/cubic metre, any spreader hopper will contain the same kgs Nitrogen whether it contains Nitram or urea.

Low Environmental Impact

Recent Defra trials that compared alternate sources of Nitrogen, found on average AN only lost 3% as Ammonia to the atmosphere. Urea average losses were 24% and as high as 58% in certain circumstances.

Cost Effective

Nitrogen is the most cost effective input and one of the most responsive.

For arable crops requiring careful canopy management, Nitram provides a very predictable and efficient source of Nitrogen in terms of its availability to the crop.
